At BOND we take pride in creating unique, custom-fit jewellery pieces, ensuring that each design is tailored to perfection, reflecting the individual style and preferences of our customers.
Each piece is custom-made and designed by you, the customer, during your appointment with us.
We carry the finest selection of UK-supplied sterling silver and 14ct gold-filled chains and charms for you to build your own unique pieces of jewellery.
During your appointment, you can try any chains from our selection and mix and match the charms on offer. Once you have made your decision, we measure and fit the piece directly onto you.
The final touch is a quick zap with our jewellery welder, making it a perfect fit, forever.
We offer a range of services, including at-home parties, pop-up events and specialise in bridal showers, wedding parties and hen dos!

Why Choose Us
Permanent jewellery is the newest up and coming luxury jewellery service on offer in the UK. We offer private bookings for events and parties in and around Chelmsford, Essex.
We arrive at the venue and set up our selection of sterling silver and 14ct gold-filled chains and charms. We will also need a small space and a plug point for our welder. We can bring our own table and power bank if needed!
Have a consultation with one of our technicians, to go through all of the details you need to know about permanent jewellery. You and your guests can then try on your chosen chains and charms and a technician will custom-fit them.
Finally, our welding technician will zap your piece of jewellery, making it a permanent piece!

Does the process hurt?
Not at all. The weld creates a delicate spark that never touches your skin, making the process safe and entirely painless.
Can I remove my jewellery?
Yes. While designed to be lasting, it can be removed with a simple cut. If you require removal for medical reasons, we offer complimentary re-welding. For any other purpose, a small re-welding fee will apply after 90 days.
What if I cannot have welded jewellery?
Our signature pieces are clasp-free, but we also offer beautiful clasps for bespoke designs if welding isn’t suitable. For clients with pacemakers, we prepare the chain to achieve the same seamless finish without using the welder.
Is permanent jewellery practical for everyday wear?
Absolutely. Crafted in high-quality gold and silver, your piece is designed to move with you through daily life, travel, and special occasions without compromise.
What if I have a pacemaker?
For clients with a pacemaker, we are unable to use the welder while you are wearing the chain. However, we can still create a seamless, clasp-free finish by preparing the chain appropriately before fitting.
What is your re-welding policy?
If your jewellery needs to be removed for medical reasons such as an MRI scan or surgery, we offer complimentary re-welding within 90 days. Beyond this period, a small service fee will apply.
Do you offer clasps?
Yes. While our signature style is clasp-free jewellery, we also offer clasps for those who wish to design bespoke pieces but are unable or prefer not to have their jewellery welded.
Is permanent jewellery suitable for travel and daily life?
Absolutely. High-quality metals are safe for everyday wear, including swimming, showering, and exercise. Permanent jewellery does not cause issues at airport security or with TSA checks.
What happens if my jewellery breaks?
If the chain separates at the weld point, we will repair it for you. For breaks elsewhere in the chain, we can often offer repair or rewelding services depending on the condition of the piece.
Do you offer private or group appointments?
Yes. Permanent jewellery makes a memorable experience for corporate events, team rewards, bridal parties, or special celebrations. We are pleased to arrange private bookings or group sessions upon request.
Who is permanent jewellery suitable for?
We recommend permanent jewellery for adults and older teens. For children or those likely to outgrow their chain, we suggest a clasped version to allow for longevity.
How long does the fitting take?
Most appointments take 10–15 minutes per piece, allowing time to select your chain and enjoy the experience of having it tailored to you.
